Over the last few years I have sat over 20 university exams, so I understand the pressures that comes with them. I am here to make you feel more confident and at ease about sitting your maths exams, and ultimately make them more enjoyable.
I find engineering very exciting and I currently work in the Nuclear sector as a Technical Engineer on the Hinkley Point C project! I have previously worked as a design engineer at Renishaw, and all of my experiences have required a strong understanding of both maths and engineering principles! This has helped me to develop a strong ability to apply maths in an engineering context.
Before university I was a trampoline coach for 5 years and so alongside tutoring with MyTutor, I have experience with teaching people of all ages and with varying needs. I am confident I can help you get the best results possible!

I believe that preparation is the key to success! My approach to tutoring is to tailor each and every session to the needs of the student, with a balance of theory and solving problems.
Throughout the course of my tutoring, I will switch styles depending on the student's needs. Either the student will take the lead and we will work through problems they'd like to tackle i.e. in preparation for an exam, or I will lead a session based on the curriculum. At all times the student will be both supported and challenged in a comfortable environment, one they feel they can ask questions.
All levels of maths are welcome, from starting the KS3 curriculum to more complex engineering mathematics! If you are interested, please don't hesitate to contact me or alternatively book a free video meeting!
We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
