Hi :) I graduated from Durham University with a First Class BSc in Maths and Earth Sciences. I achieved four A*'s at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Geography and German) and eight 9's and two 8's at GCSE. I am based in Cambridge and enjoy making online lessons interactive, engaging and enjoyable. I am a friendly and energetic person and I am able to adapt lessons to different learning styles, ages and confidence levels. I have now completed over 400 tutoring lessons.

I am based in Cambridge and enjoy making online lessons interactive, engaging and enjoyable. I am a friendly and energetic person and I am able to adapt lessons to different learning styles, ages and confidence levels. I have now completed over 400 tutoring lessons.
I have also been a gymnastics coach for 4 years so I really enjoy working with children and teenagers, and appreciate their different needs.
About my sessions
I begin the first few lessons by asking questions about the students topics and learning styles, so that I can quickly gauge what styles of learning will be most effective and appropriate for them.
Next I provide a mix of questions that we can work through together as hands on or off as the student prefers.
We conclude with a reflection on the lesson and outline together what we will do in the next sessions, to make the sessions progressive and enjoyable.

We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
