HI! I’m Aleena and I’m a third year medical student at the University of Nottingham. I love helping children and playing a part in their education as I believe everyone should have access to facilities that will help further them in life. I’m very patient and take my time to ensure that the individual I’m helping understands thoroughly and I always make sure to make it a point that everyone is comfortable and in a safe and cared for environment. I love medicine as it gives me a chance to understand how people and their bodies work and it gives me a chance to look after people and nurture their health. I would help my students improve by going through similar example questions with a topic they’re struggling with and then I would allow them to have a go and assist if necessary and make sure to continually assure them and give them confidence.

A little bit about my sessions: I normally start off with an introduction to the topic and then we would answer some questions together and I can be sure that you understand the basics. Then we would move onto answering questions independently so I can see if and at which points you’re getting stuck and need a little more help with. We would then work through these problems together and depending on what we’ve done in class, we can set homework accordingly.
