My name is Sophie and I am going into my fourth year studying a BSc in Geography at Bristol University with the ambition to continue my education doing a Marine Biology Masters in the near future. I have a love for learning and I am always keen to help others learn too. I have achieved 10 GSCEs with A*s in Maths and the three sciences. I tutor Maths and Physics GCSE and Biology, Chemistry and Geography to A-level standard. Throughout my time in education, I have learnt the best ways of learning and preparing for exams, so I would gladly share these with students. I have worked with children for over 3 years through forest school and I have been tutoring for two and a half years now offering lessons to individuals and small group tuition. I have a DBS certification as of October 2023, I am qualified with safeguarding level 1 and have undertaken SEND training too. A weekly homework task or exam paper will then be set on the topic we covered that week and i will mark it in good time before our next session. Feedback will then be provided during our lesson slot and a chance for the student to ask any questions.
