Hi! I'm Amelia, a second-year university student studying a MMath Mathematics Degree. I studied Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-Level and have always enjoyed learning why the world works - maths and science help to prove/theorise a lot of it! I am passionate about helping others learn efficiently and effectively so will try my best to expand your knowledge and horizons! P.S I only tutor GCSE and A-Level maths.

My sessions will start with a short recap to recall the previous session's learning, before introducing the topic and going through questions for the remainder of the session. My students are free to ask any questions at any time, and I will make sure they are comfortable in doing so. I will deliver my sessions via illustrating my solutions on the whiteboard, encouraging them to input their ideas too.

Consistency in recalling previous knowledge and physically practicing are so important to progress and improve especially in a subject such as maths, so in addition to recall, I will encourage my students to write the solution themselves, in addition with any notes they wish to add, along with me.
