I have been living in France for three years whilst teaching English at l'Université de Paul Valery, as well as tutoring students in English Language, Literature, French and History. With a strong background of experience, having tutored since 2015, I'm very excited to have taken this passion of mine online with MyTutor. I'm patient, enthusiastic and engaging, ready to help you overcome obstacles and achieve your potential.

Having been a dual honours student I understand the need to balance multiple subjects, which can be particularly difficult during GCSEs and A levels. Hobbies are similarly a big part of my life, having played netball for the English department and performing in a professional A Capella group at events across the UK. I am keen to support students in negotiating time spent on their hobbies and studies, as I really value the importance of time management.

Whether you need help decoding Shakespeare, understanding when we actually do use the subjunctive, or to unleash your inner creative writer I am excited to help you unlock your potential!

About my sessions

My sessions are unique and entirely based around the individual student. I work hard to understand their strengths and weaknesses in order to tailor classes to help them achieve their potential. Whilst I work closely alongside exam specifications and mark schemes, I am a strong believer in creative and imaginative thought so will always encourage students to be independent learners and thinkers. I remind them that, particularly with regards to English Literature/Language, there is no wrong an...
