Hello! I am Angeliki, an MPhys Particle Physics graduate student, currently on a Quantum Dynamics master's journey at Imperial College London. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research at CERN, a world-renowned hub of particle physics and scientific discovery. My driving force in science is to contribute my bit to the study of consciousness and longevity.
Being an IB graduate, I have a close understanding of how to succeed in different qualifications, and have acquired various resources and tricks to tackle any difficult concept or exercise. The aforementioned is also evident in my second-place ranking within the physics department and my Dean’s List awards during my third and fourth year of university. As a student, I found asking questions beyond the context of the course particularly beneficial in my academic performance. If desirable, I would love to pose the students such questions, as it would develop their critical thinking and make the lesson itself even more exciting!
I will initially structure our lessons by assessing the student’s strengths and weaknesses. Each lesson will be based around specific learning objectives, which will aim to close any gaps in the students’ understanding of the syllabus in the long term. The lessons will include resources such as textbooks, quizzes and past papers, and I would be glad to set homework, as practice is the best way to absorb and hone the different skills learnt in class.

We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 8 becomes a tutor on our site.
