Hi , I’m Anika and I’m a 4th year Medical student at the University of Leeds and am delighted to be teaching GCSE Biology and Chemistry and Maths ! Hi , I’m Anika and I’m a 4th year Medical student at the University of Leeds and am delighted to be teaching GCSE Biology and Chemistry and Maths ! I’m extremely passionate about teaching science and allowing students to reach their full potential . I chose to study medicine because of fascination in Biology and the human body , and I hope to relay that onto my students. Achieving high grades in science may seem daunting however I hope that my tailored revision advice centred around spaced repetition , active recall and the emphasis on past papers and mark scheme analysis.
As someone who has been physically tutoring students from KS3 to GCSE every summer , I am passionate about bringing an interactive approach to learning that will translate virtually as well and I hope to break down difficult concepts to be much more comprehensible .

Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach.
